Daytona Launch Vodafone DMAX Cadets

Daytona Milton Keynes is launching a brand new premium arrive&drive race series for 8-12 year old drivers, who wish to consider becoming professional drivers just like Jensen Button or Lewis Hamilton.  The Vodafone DMax-Cadet 2010 championship will comprise five rounds at Daytona Milton Keynes – racing in Daytona’s Vodafone DMax –Cadet karts.

 

With Tonykart chassis, Bridgestone tyres and Parilla 85cc Two-Stroke, electric-start engines, the DMax-Cadet karts offer the fastest Arrive&Drive Cadet racing in the UK. The series is open to intermediate and experienced drivers aged 8-12 years old, including Daytona Bambino Advanced Graduates, Daytona Race School Graduates, Daytona InKart Members and MSA Licence Holders. Other drivers may take part following an assessment (cost £45).

 

According to general manager Lee Jackson; “This new race series takes cadet karting to a new, professional, high-speed level. Young racers will find these karts will really help them polish their racing skills while giving them the thrill of a lifetime.

 

The championship Series is as follows with each round comprising a practice session and three heats each – followed by Repechage Finals

Rnd 1  Sunday 23rd May
Rnd 2  Sunday  13th  June
Rnd 3  Sunday 11th July
Rnd 4  Sunday 12th September
Rnd 5 Sunday 17th October
