The Daytona DMAX Championships returned to Ellough Park Circuit in Suffolk for the first time in four years for the sixth round of the 2018 Series and saw over 110 drivers compete in the blistering hot conditions.
With the championship now firmly into the second half of the season, leading drivers were looking to consolidate their champs standings but some upsets saw the order changing across a number of the races on a packed day of motorsport at Ellough.
Richard Allen, however, continued his assault on the Heavies with a convincing win in the Heavy Enduro, ahead of Rob Bennett and Tarik Almou, with Darren Holliday picking up Super Heavy honours yet again. In the Lights, Kameron Khan took the top step ahead of Jack 0’Neill and Gus Silveira – whilst the Inter Enduro was won by Andy Spencer from Owen Jenman and Bobby Trundley.
In the Heats, Bennett took the top step in the Heavies, ahead of Almou and Pritchard – with Holliday once again picking up the Super Heavy Class Win. Jack O’Neill won the Lights Heats from Max O’Shaughnessy and Body Wayne Jr – with Jenman winning Inters Heats from Coppin and Hackworth.
