Started racing in the 90s in Prokart Enduro Racing. Various podiums but best moment to date is 3rd place at Le-Mans 24hr Kart Endurance in 1996. Is looking forward to racing in a one make series again

Started racing aged 7 but has been out of action for a little while. DMAX 2017 is his way back into the racing world, and is aiming to get as much experience as possible before aiming higher in 2018

Allergic to winning - 11 podiums, none on the top step. Claims to be DMAX's worst sprinter; undoubtedly the worst kart diagnostician! 3rd in Heavy Enduro '16, 4th in '17 despite limited track time!

Richard Bland

Has been racing for 15+ years, starting in karts and moving up into cars. Most recently has been racing in the Mazda MX5 UK Championships. Best finish was 1st at Brands Hatch in the MRSV Track Trophy.

Has been racing in the DMAX Champs for the last 5 years. Highlights so far are two 2nd Places at Tamworth last year and 3rd overall in the Heats Championship 2016. Also placed 8th in the Daytona 25hr.

Started karting 3 years ago, both indoors and outdoors. Started taking it seriously last year in DMAX and is looking to improve this season.

Known to argue on track with hand gestures. Won a trophy once, not done much since. Maybe something to do with never having 2 hands on the wheel

Tommaso Ammendola (2018)


Tommaso's dad was a rally driver and as such is a big fan of motorsports. Raced in the Daytona Cup at the Race of Champions and was hooked. Best result in DMAX 2016 was 8th in the Heavy Enduro.

Ian De Vere


Ian's motorsport started with rallying in Australia. Now loving his karting, Ian was 2nd in the 2016 SODI D60 Summer Champs and 4th in the 2015/16 D60 Winter Champs. Looking forward to a faster kart!

Blaze Sienko (2018)


Blaze started racing with Daytona in early '15 jumping straight into the DMAX Championships. His best results came when he moved into the Heavy class mid-2016 and hopes to continue improving this year

Toby Whiffin (2018)


Toby raced in BUKC hosted by C100 back in the early 00s and has done odds and sods since. This will be his 1st season with DMAX having raced at one of the Whilton Mill rounds last year and loving it!

28 and finally starting to take racing seriously! Follow the Daytona 25hr last year, he has raced in Manchester's DF1 Series and is using the early stages of DMAX as practice for this year's 24hr race

Darren's first "proper" kart race was at Sandown in early 2017 before taking the plunge and entering the Championship. Is on a fast learning curve, aiming to not finish last! Is having great fun.

Has been racing for almost 30 years. Competed in OEKC for 6 years until 2 years ago when he switched to DMAX. In 2016, Gary won the SH Enduro Championship. Owns a track Porsche Cayman for track days.
