Daytona Milton Keynes hosted the final round of the Daytona DMAX 2018 Championship on Sunday and saw the highest entry level ever for a single day round! 156 Drivers registered for the last chance to race in this year’s amazing DMAX Champs.
The drivers enjoyed beautiful sunshine and a dry circuits, even if temperatures struggled to climb above 8 degrees all day – the the dry tarmac helped promote some amazingly close racing in all three endurance races in the morning and across all of the heats and Finals later in the afternoon.
Daytona would like to congratulate the podium finishers and the 2017 champions who were confirmed on the day – although they will have to wait until the Daytona DMAX Awards Dinner on 2nd December to collect their Championship Silverware.
The Round 10 Podium Finishers were:
Inter Enduro: Joe Ellis, ahead of Chris Hackworth and Bobby Trundley (Champion)
Heavy Enduro: Tom Pughe from Paul Studd and Chris Munro (Superheavy Champion)
Light Enduro: Max O’Shaughnessy (champion) ahead of Ben Leslie and Kameron Khan
Inter Heats: Mike Coppin from Chris Hackworth and Bobby Trundley (Champion)
Heavy Heats: Rob Bennet ahead of Lee Witney and Chris Munro (Super Heavy Champion)
Light Heats: Kameron Khan from Max O’Shaughnessy and Sam Lovelace.
