The TW Steel Dmax 2015 Enduro Championships
Round 5 – Daytona Milton Keynes – Cliff Circuit

Daytona’s TW Steel Dmax Champs fifth round saw 111 entries at Daytona Milton Keynes. Racing on the Cliff Circuit proved to be a new challenge for lots of drivers as the resulting approach to turn 8 created new overtaking opportunities and a different speed onto the straight.

In the Heavy Enduro, Adrian Wisniewski took Pole ahead of Rob Bennett and Chris Carter and those three drivers also made it onto the podium after an hours racing, albeit with Carter taking the win and Bennett third.

In the Inter Enduro class, Bobby Trundley took Pole and the race win by a clear 13 seconds. Behind him Luke Cousins enjoyed second, whilst Joe Holmes stole third after his long battle with Andrew Knapp saw the latter take too much kerb at Turn 10, resulting in a spin.

In the lights, Tom Golding was unable to convert Pole into a race win, as Dom Whiting proved too quick for everyone, winning by over 5 seconds. Chris Hackworth beat Golding to second by two tenths after an hour.

The Heavy Heats Final saw Chris Carter and Tomek Zaustowicz swap the lead seven times in 11 laps and their battle gave Rob Bennett the chance to sneak up with all three drivers leaving the final bend of the last lap three abreast. Zaustowicz won the race by 0.174 seconds from Bennett – who beat Carter to second by one hundredth of a second.

In the Inters Heats, Joe Holmes recorded three heats wins and a easy win in the Final, with Bobby Trundley second from Luke Cousins.

The Lights Heats Final was another exciting dice, this time for third place. Chris Hackworth took a clear win from Dom Whiting and Tom Golding was third – having enjoyed a race long three way tussle with Ben Leslie and Josh King.
