Daytona Sandown Park will host the 7th round of the 2017 Daytona DMAX championship, with drivers looking forward to racing on the GP Alternate Circuit at the Surrey Venue.

Daytona Sandown Park always promises exciting close racing in the DMAX champs and the Alternate GP Circuit is a firm favourite with the championship contenders. Round 7 takes place on Sunday 20th August – with limited testing available on the Alternate Circuit on Saturday 19th August.

The Alternate track layout features a sharp right turn after the start line, followed by the left hander onto the infield straight. Drivers then have to deal with the left hand hairpin, another very short straight and then a right hand hairpin onto the back straight before accelerating through Vale and then racing the entire length of the top straight before braking heavily for Turns 6 and 7 and then braking again for T8 to get a good entry onto the start straight.
