Daytona�s reliability in a kart

Daytona’s fastest kart fleet ever is impressing all with its reliability. Since the launch in August 2008, the DMAX karts have suffered no major failures. Even after a gruelling 6 hour endurance race in September, the karts needed nothing more than a quick check over, chain tension adjustment and a thorough clean.

DMAX manager Richard Brunning said, “It’s a testament to the development work carried out by both Birel and Rotax that these elite race karts are so reliable. The team here at Daytona work very hard to keep them in tip-top shape so that our customers benefit from the amazing reliability. In fact, the only thing we’ve had to replace is one steering column; and that’s only because I broke it!”
