DMAX sets the pace at Buckmore

The 8th round of the Daytona Max UK Championship headed to the picturesque Kent circuit last weekend and the drivers relished the demanding track. The 1 hour individual endurance race was sold out and saw wins for Buckmore Park regular Hugo Bush in the lightweight category setting a new track record of 45.432 in the process. Completing the podium were Andrew Biddle and Paul Peebles. The Heavyweights saw Brian Alexander taking the top step followed by Andy Griffiths and Kirk Court-Howden.

The Sprint races did not disappoint with some absolutely stunning racing. In the lightweight category, Chris Hackworth took the win followed by James Pratt and Matthew Edmonson-Jones. Just 19/100ths of a second covered the top 3 across the line!

The Heavyweight drivers raced rather too robustly during the heats, but the final was superb. James Brunton saw the chequered flag first followed by Vince Cogzell and Michael Ballinger.

Round 9 is on October 10th at Milton Keynes. Book now to avoid disappointment: Tel 0845 644 5503
