Alex Brundle Tests for Daytona

F2 racer and son of former F1 driver Martin Brundle, Alex is working with Daytona Motorsport in the racing off season to improve hit fitness and also improve the Daytona kart fleet. Testing every single kart is demanding work but necessary to ensure that each kart is as good as it can possibly be. Starting with the DMAX fleet, Alex spent 4 hours on Thursday pounding round the demanding Milton Keynes International circuit. Although quite different to his F2 car, they are no less demanding to drive as he quickly found out. Much more fun than going to the gym, the hours of testing were beneficial to both Alex and Daytona. His feedback was excellent and the Daytona engineers quickly sorted any minor niggles with the DMAX karts.

The twin engine Pro-kart fleet will benefit next from Alex’s testing and then the busy young man will be at Sandown Park to do it all over again!
