Wembley Circuit is completed

The 2008 Race of Champions Circuit was completed at 11.30am today (10th December) and two DMax karts were the first to leave the pitlane and test the track. Both drivers reported that the circuit layout was perfect for the Dmax karts - with the level of grip likely to mean that drivers will be able to powerslide their karts and hold them on line with the throttle pedal. Todays laptimes of just over 40 seconds are likely to come down once the Race Of Champions cars have laid some rubber down on Sunday.Today also gave Team Daytona an opportunity to test the scoring and timing and to see the timing information up on the Wembley Stadium Large Screens and on the plasma screens around the venue.Whilst the 24 Hour Race is completely sold out, there are just a few teams remaining in the two hour races next wednesday and thursday afternoons.
