An exciting and exclusive new race series has arrived at Daytona: Daytona Max

A brand new fleet of 2-stroke race karts has arrived. With 50% more horsepower, lighter weight and more grip than our twin engine fleet; these karts are a real challenge to drive and only the best will be invited to take their place on the grid.

Daytona Motorsport will be running a 4 round Championship in 2008 with both team endurance and sprint formats available. The Max endurance championship races will run over two hours plus practice and the sprint meeting format will be: practice, 3 x heats per driver and a grand final. There will be separate Championship classes for lightweight and heavyweight drivers in both the endurance and sprint events.

The first chance to get your hands on the Daytona Max fleet will be Friday 22nd August in an open arrive and drive day. Sessions will be 30 minutes and prices are as follows:

30 minutes: £65 / 60 minutes: £110 /60 minutes with tuition and coaching: £175

The Daytona Max Championship series will start in September.
